Client: Sharp Hospital
ACI’s design is intended to be a medical clinic with a unique healing environment that delivers “The Sharp Experience.” The distinctive theme, “Earth, Water, and Light” creates the peaceful setting the client desires.
Interior enhancements include an inviting lobby and waiting area with a lofty, spacious entry and a contemporary retail environment. Moving through the clinic, portals and passageways give the Sharp patient a sense of orientation by theme. Day lighting program for the third floor harnesses the healing qualities of sunlight while creative sensory engagement is used throughout.
Exterior enhancements include a soothing water feature outside of the main entry to provide a moment of reflection and a calming experience for patients. Similarly, a sunroom outside the pharmacy offers comfort while waiting to be served.
