Shannon Roark, Allied ASID

Shannon Roark has been designing programs, experiences, and spaces for more than 22 years. It was through her work in the affordable housing industry that she discovered her passion and aptitude for interior design. With the opportunity to collaborate on the design aspects of new projects and the furnishing of community centers, she discovered a different avenue for her creative talents. Ms. Roark pursued an education in design to build her technical skills and applied her growing knowledge to her work as she went, collecting competencies in AutoCad, Revit, Lumion, Photoshop, and InDesign along the way.

Ms. Roark graduated from Design Institute of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. Previously, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Certificate in Ministry from Whitworth University. Ms. Roark is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers and served three terms on the Board of Directors of the DI Student Chapter. She is also a member of the San Diego Architecture Foundation and a volunteer with Humble Design. Highly involved in the community, Ms. Roark was recognized as Volunteer of the Year in 2018 for her work with the San Diego Housing Federation as Advisory Board Chair for the Resident Services Support Network.

Let’s create amazing places together.
