Client: Stockton Ave Dual Brand Hotel
Near Downtown San Jose’s Diridon train station and future Google transit village, this first-of-its-kind development for San Jose combines a dual branded hotel and residential condominiums. Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott are slated to brand the hotel, containing 311 rooms. 19 for-sale residential condominiums are comprised of one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 806 to 2,229 square feet on the top floors. The dense, urban, mixed-use development is 37,410 square feet with 9 stories above grade. The three-story underground parking garage includes 129 spaces for residents and guests and electric car charging stations.
On the ground floor, a large entry terrace adjoining Stockton Avenue and West Julian Street will create a grand sense of arrival and seating for the public in the walkable neighborhood. Condominium residents and hotel guests will enter the building through separate lobbies but share amenities such as an indoor pool and fitness center. A rooftop deck and common area on the building’s top floor will be reserved for condo residents. Restaurant and bar will be open to all, while meeting rooms and offices will serve hotel guests.
